Jewelry artist Nathan King working under magnification, refining fine details on a hand-made 18k gold ring.

About the Maker

I'm Nathan King - engineer by profession & goldsmith by trade. For 10 years my family and I have called the Philippines home, where I handcraft bespoke engagement rings and wedding bands in solid 18k gold in my Manila studio. My standard is simple: every detail must be perfect, even when enlarged several feet high.

Nathan King began his career as a civil engineer, delivering complex infrastructure projects across Australia, the Middle East, and the Philippines.

Today, that same discipline is applied at the bench.

Trained in advanced stone setting and engraving in the United States and Europe, Nathan works exclusively in solid 18k gold, fine gemstones, and traditional granulation.

Every ring is handmade in Manila, in solid 18k gold.

Nothing is cast.

Nothing is mass produced.

Nathan’s standard is simple:

The ring should look as good on your hand as it does enlarged on a wall several feet high.

Every detail matters.

Every surface matters.

Every granule matters.

His work draws inspiration from ancient goldsmithing traditions, but the goal is not to recreate the past.

It is to create modern heirlooms.

Pieces designed to celebrate life’s most important moments and remain meaningful for generations.

Because the most meaningful possessions are never truly owned.

They are held in trust for a time, then passed forward.

From one generation to the next.

From one story to another.

Every ring begins as raw gold at the bench.

Every ring leaves carrying a story of its own.

Each piece is individually hand-fabricated and produced in limited numbers.

Private appointments are available in Makati.
